K9
Kompany prides itself on
our attention to the individual, but a multiple dog class
situation can just be a little too much for some dogs (and their
handlers) when you first start coming to training. Our private
lessons can give you the confidence to handle your dog in a class
environment, so that you can have fun and enjoy the valuable
bonding experience that pet dog training provides.

REACTIVE
ROVER
Do you avoid going for
walks with your dog in case you meet another dog, or person?
Does
your dog react badly to visitors coming into your home?
Do you find
yourself saying "it's alright, he only wants to say
hello" as your dog bounds up to someone?
If you do, our
"Reactive Rover" classes may help you, and your dog,
enjoy life as it was meant to be.
This is a class
for our more challenging
dogs, such as dogs that react to other dogs by lunging, barking
and jumping.
These
are generally dogs that are fearful, under-socialized, protective
or visually stimulated by other dogs.
We teach these dogs to
behave more appropriately when around other dogs and people.
We often use
head collars, occasionally a muzzle (so everyone feels safe)
and always lots of time and patience.
Each dog
is assessed and has private training before joining this
integration class.
Each
class is 45 minutes long, $16.00 per class.
